Also rally director Urmo Aava was present.
Here are some comments from the drivers:
Karl Kruuda: „In Rally Poland we achieved third place in WRC 2. This and also the pace we showed are giving us a lot of confidence before auto24 Rally Estonia. For sure we are one of the favorites but it is not an pressure for us. If you can’t stand the pressure you should stay at home. I believe that our Citroen DS3 R5 suits well to auto24 Rally Estonia stages and we’re going to fight for the victory.“
Martin Kangur: „My last start was last year’s Rally GB. We are hungry and ready for the competition with our rivals. We will do one test before the event and we are looking forward to start in auto24 Rally Estonia which is the biggest autosport event in Baltics.“
Timmu Kõrge: „We are happy to be a part of Sainteloc Junior Team with series leader Craig Breen. Is it possible to beat him in Estonia? There is always a chance and we will be ready. I also remember very well last year’s close fight with Alexey Lukyanuk and we have watched our videos from last year and we have find some places where we can brake later and beat him.“
Sander Pärn: „For us was also Rally Poland good indicator as we were able to show better pace day by day. So we will start in Estonia with good feeling we are also looking good preparation for Rally Finland and of course are we thinking about winning here. My co-driver James Morgan said that he want’s to be first Brit who will win auto24 Rally Estonia.“
Raul Jeets: This is for us third FIA ERC start this season. But it is first gravel rally after last years Rally Latvia. We will do test and small rallysprint before the event. We have planned after auto24 Rally Estonia do at least 2 more FIA ERC events, Cyprus and Greece. For us it is very important that FIA ERC series has a round here in Estonia and it is for sure top event also this year.“
Siim Plangi: „In Liepaja were we FIA ERC second and first in ERC 2. Competition is in Estonia much stronger and for us it’s a big challenge to fight with R5 cars and also for class victory in ERC 2.
Miko Niinemäe: „We would like to find out where we are with our pace comparing to ERC Junior drivers. When we had this idea, our sponsors came along. The competition in ERC Junior is strong and I believe that we can fight for the podium.“
